I took this picture last week while running in the Marin Headlands...  An older couple was walking the trails and I talked to them for a little bit.   The man told me that it is a shame that 90% of the population don't get to see enjoy these views accessible only by trails,  I felt very lucky.   Come run with us..  send questions to luis@sancarloscrossfit.com

A warm-up helps you prepare both mentally and physically for exercise and reduces the chance of injury,  so please come to the gym on time so you warm up properly...  Please don't skip this important part of our routine, unless you have a big desire of getting injured..

We got a few folks starting the fundamentals series today.   They are probably  be sore tomorrow...  🙂    Remember when you started?   That said, make sure to introduce yourself to these cool people when you see them at the box.  Remember, it wasn't long ago that you were that new face.  CrossFit is scary enough to most people who haven’t done it before so soften the shock with a little welcome from the vets...

I just recently read a blogpost regarding coffee and why it is good for you.   I have been a coffee drinker for a long time and I come from a place where some of the best coffee in the world is grown.   And for a long time I tried to quit….   Why?  I don’t know..  but the following list has made my day and I will not longer try to deny myself from this awesome drink…   With moderation of course!!

The home take message is :  Even though coffee in moderate amounts is good for you, drinking way too much of it can still be harmful.  To make sure to preserve the health benefits, don’t put sugar or anything nasty in your coffee! If it tends to affect your sleep, then don’t drink it after 2pm.  If anything, coffee may literally be the healthiest beverage on the planet.

Lost keys... If you attended the 4:30, 5:30 or 6:30 class today (Tuesday) and by accident, you took a set of keys that does not belong to you.  Please contact Luis ASAP.  (luis@sancarloscrossfit.com) (908 967 1606).  We have an unhappy member that is spending the night at the gym tonight cuz she cannot drive home.

Losing anything is distressing, to say the least, but losing your keys is the worst. Please help us find these....

It's not going to be easy, it's going to be worth it.
