Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position seeks a substitute nurse (LPN or higher) to provide 1:1 nursing care in a middle school setting. The role involves working directly with a student who requires specialized health support, including feeding assistance and medical monitoring throughout the school day. This is a contract position for the current school year, located in Rindge, NH.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing one-on-one nursing care for a student
• Administering feedings via pump and G-tube, including residual and delay bolus feeding monitoring
• Monitoring heart rate and oxygen saturation as required
• Performing oral and nasal suctioning
• Managing wound care for mouth injuries as needed
• Adhering to all applicable nursing protocols and school health policies

Required qualifications and skills:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), or Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience providing nursing care in school or pediatric settings preferred
• Ability to work independently under a contract agreement
• Strong communication and observational skills
• Comfort with medical devices such as feeding pumps and suction equipment

Schedule and duration:

• Contract position for current school year
• Specific dates include multiple half-day and full-day assignments between February and May
• Flexibility to work the specified morning or full-day shifts
