Company Overview:
Our client is a long-established leader in the heavy-duty truck parts industry, operating for over 40 years in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) . With a 25,000 sq. ft. warehouse and multiple retail outlets , they are a major distributor of aftermarket truck and trailer parts , supplying a wide range of OEM-quality replacement components for Class 8 trucks , tractors , and trailers .
They are currently looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join their B2B sales team in Mississauga. This is a full-time, permanent role with strong income potential for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage outside B2B sales of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts to fleet operators, repair shops, logistics companies, and dealerships.
Conduct cold calling , territory prospecting, and client visits across the GTA to develop new accounts and grow existing business.
Build long-term relationships and manage key accounts to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
Gather and analyze market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and new product trends to provide insights to the management team.
Work with procurement and warehouse teams on product demand , inventory levels, and market pricing strategies .
Support brand-building initiatives in collaboration with the marketing department .
Utilize CRM systems to track leads, manage customer data, and maintain sales records.
Follow up on accounts receivable to ensure timely payments and maintain healthy customer credit terms.
Qualifications & Skills:
Post-secondary education in Sales , Marketing , Business Administration , or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in outside sales within the heavy-duty truck parts , automotive aftermarket , or transportation industry .
Solid understanding of products such as batteries , tires , lubricants , filters , suspension components , and braking systems .
Strong knowledge of fleet operations , vocational trucking , or transportation logistics is a definite asset.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools (AS400 experience is an asset but not required).
Valid G-Class driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout the GTA.
Bilingual (English and French) is a plus but not required.
