Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a term-limited position with a three year contract period. The successful candidate will teach in our BS in Health Systems Management, Master in Health Administration, and/or MPH in Health Policy; and contribute professional service to the institution, community, and discipline.
Minimum Experience / Education:
UNC Charlotte gives primary consideration to the earned masters and/or terminal degree in the teaching discipline or a related discipline.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Candidates must have a masters degree in health administration by August 2024. Candidates are expected to have a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate levels across a variety of delivery modalities (on-campus, online synchronous, and online asynchronous). Candidates must present evidence of teaching excellence and experience with student mentoring. Knowledge of introductory and advanced concepts in health systems management and health administration is required.
Preferred candidates will be doctorally trained and have five years of recent experience working in the healthcare industry. We are particularly interested in candidates with a background in health informatics. The extent to which the candidate can contribute to the mission of the new Department will be considered.About The University of North Carolina at Charlotte
