Job Description Job Description H VAC Service Technician Position: Responsibilities: · Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems · Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements · Perform routine preventative maintenance · Respond to emergency maintenance requests · Adhere to all safety policies and procedures · Responsible for the installation of large mini-split systems, including refrigeration piping, pipe insulation, and control wiring · Perform start-up of newly installed HVAC systems · Perform Service repairs and troubleshooting diagnostics to existing HVAC systems · Perform in the field using related experience and knowledge of codes and specifications. Qualifications: · Previous experience in HVAC or other related fields (minimum of 5 years prior experience preferred) · Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams · Ability to handle physical workload · Run Refrigeration piping · Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills · Qualified individuals most possess a full-range of mechanical knowledge · Ability to Navigate NYC Subway Systems Education · Technical trade school diploma and training certificate is a plus · Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a commercial HVAC application · OSHA 30 hours
