Overview:

Join our vibrant marketing team in San Diego, CA, as we seek a dynamic and motivated digital marketing intern! If you're currently studying toward and are passionate about the world of marketing, we encourage you to apply for this internship opportunity.

In this role, you'll be immersed in various global marketing projects, gaining hands-on experience in key focus areas such as brand monitoring, performance analytics, research and digital strategy. You'll work closely with our team to drive impactful initiatives and contribute to our marketing efforts!

We are looking for a student able to commit to 16-28 hours/week, ideally spread across three days for a 12-week duration, over the summer 2024. Working hours/days can be flexible based on the candidates availability.

Responsibilities:

1. Brand Monitoring & Guidelines

• Assists in the development and maintenance of our global brand guidelines.
• Audit digital content being used globally in various markets.

2. Performance Marketing Analytics & Reporting

• Analyze digital marketing insights and provide actionable recommendations.

3. Research & Insights

• Organize and analyze global market research data, such as reports and studies.
• Help set up and organize a SharePoint page to improve accessibility, readability and user experience of insights reports.

4. Digital Marketing Strategy

• Research and compile content creation best practices in various markets and on diverse platforms.
• Assist in developing AI usage guidelines for marketers.
• Review, assess, and suggest training courses, materials, and other initiatives, to elevate digital IQ training for our global organization.
  

The projects listed above are examples. Actual projects may vary based on multiple factors including business priorities and relevant experience, knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Marketing, Business, Communication, Journalism, or related field.
• Analytical mind with ability to derive insights from data. Some data science experience is a plus.
• Strong motivation, eagerness to learn, and willingness to contribute.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Proficient in Microsoft products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, etc.
• Knowledge of marketing principles and practices is a plus.
