Job Description

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Mail Room Courier to support daily mailroom operations and handle the distribution and collection of mail and packages within and between office locations for Fulton County Elections. This position plays a key role in ensuring timely and secure handling of all correspondence and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, distribute, and collect incoming and outgoing mail and packages

• Deliver interoffice mail and documents to various departments and locations

• Pick up mail from designated areas and deliver to postal services or courier drop-off points

• Track and log incoming and outgoing deliveries

• Maintain mailroom supplies and equipment

• Ensure confidential documents are handled securely and in compliance with company policies

• Report delivery issues, delays, or damaged items promptly

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mailroom

• Assist with special deliveries, bulk mailings, or courier services as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be an U.S. Citizen

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (driving is required)

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 lbs.

• Excellent attention to detail

• Professional and courteous communication skills

• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
