Commercial Contracts Manager - Fort Mill, SC (Hybrid)
A growing leader in the construction materials industry is seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Manager to join its team in Fort Mill, SC . This high-impact role is responsible for managing and negotiating commercial contracts, supporting internal stakeholders, and protecting company interests in all contractual matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Review, draft, and negotiate commercial terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors in the construction industry.
Evaluate and negotiate customer credit applications and NDAs.
Navigate lien and bond rights across multiple states.
Manage contract language including indemnification, limitation of liability, warranties, and government clauses (FAR/DFAR).
Oversee contract-related insurance matters and ensure compliance with commercial construction standards.
Collaborate with sales, legal, and executive teams to ensure contracts align with business goals.
Coordinate with internal and external counsel for complex reviews.
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
Support other contractual issues as needed.
Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Law orConstruction Management and/orParalegal Certificate (required).
Proven experience negotiating commercial agreements with internal and external stakeholders.
Deep understanding of contract lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and construction practices.
Ability to lead contractual conversations confidently and professionally.
Preferred Experience: 1+ years using Microsoft Office, Adobe, or similar PDF tools.
Experience with CLM systems or SAP/Stradex tools.
Familiarity with federal contracts, including FAR/DFAR clauses.
Schedule & Work Environment: Hybrid : Onsite 4 days/week in Fort Mill, SC with 1 remote day
Office located in a modern business park setting.
Must be able to report onsite as needed for collaboration and review.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base Salary :$100,000-$150,000 plus Bonus Opportunities
