Position Summary :
We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join Allied World's Data Insights team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate to launch your career in data analytics while contributing to meaningful business insights across our organization.
Key Responsibilities: - Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights that support business decision-making
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver insights
- Support the design and delivery of data solutions aligned with business objectives
- Assist in data quality assurance and validation processes
- Document findings and present insights to stakeholders in clear, compelling formats
Qualifications Compensation The below annualized base pay range is a broad range based on analysis of similar positions in the market. The actual base pay for the position may be above or below he listed range and determined by a number of considerations, including but now limited to complexity, location, and scope of the role, along with experience, skills, education, training, and other conditions of employment. Base salary represents one compensation of Allied World comprehensive total reward package, which may also include annual incentive compensation rewards.
$60,000 - $70,000
Professional Experience / Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in data science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or related field (recent graduate)
- Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data interpretation
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical findings for non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Knowledge of data governance and best practices
- Internship or project experience in data analytics
