We design and manufacture the worlds leading industrial and IT enclosures, racks, and accessories, including high efficiency, high-density power management, and climate control systems for industrial, data center, outdoor, and hybrid applications. As an Account Manager - IA , you will focus on driving business through cold calling, pipelining, and closing deals within the Industrial Automation Vertical for Rittal. You will develop, execute, and manage the full sales cycle within your territory. Collaboration with Marketing, Inside Sales, and Key Account Managers will be essential to coordinate projects and ensure you meet your targets and goals. You will be responsible for generating sales and expanding business within your assigned territory. Candidate must reside in the Bay Area (San Francisco/Oakland) or Sacramento. Primary Activities/Duties: Represent and communicate Rittals Industrial Enclosure product line to potential and current customers. Build direct business relationships and assess customer needs to provide comprehensive product solutions, collaborating with Rittals system engineering team. Work with Machine Builders, Specifying Engineers, End Users, Distributors, Resellers, and Manufacturers Representatives within your territory. Service existing accounts, obtain orders, establish new accounts, and grow market share through daily customer contact, follow-up on leads, and cold calling. Study existing accounts to tailor sales presentations and strategies. Keep management informed of market trends and sales opportunities through regular reports and territory analyses. Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, and new offerings. Resolve customer concerns by investigating issues, developing solutions, and recommending actions to management. Collaborate with the inside sales team to ensure product availability, resolve technical issues, and provide accurate quotes. Assist in developing and implementing the annual business plan. Attend networking events within your territory. What we seek: is for someone in the greater Philadelphia area with a strong analytical mindset to identify trends and opportunities, along with the following: Bachelor of Science or Business Degree required or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in industrial sales. 2-3 years of related experience with a technical background and knowledge of industrial products. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Customer Relationship Management tools. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
