Video Content Editor

What Will You Do?

The Video Content Editor works with the content and creative teams to handle post-production of video content. The primary responsibility will be selecting and assembling video and audio materials to build a strong narrative for produced branded content as well as internal video projects. The Video Content Editor will ensure the vision is brought to life through a strong understanding of project goals. Content will include stop motion, product videos, educational videos, inspirational and social content as well as corporate projects as assigned.

• Edit video content to high standards with understanding of pacing, audio mix, color grading and overall look and feel of the final piece.
• Follow technical post-production workflows as established.
• Collaborate with various team members to organize and maintain copies and versioning of assets.
• Follow specific post-production grid delivery systems, social media guidelines and aspect ratio templates to meet video production standards.
• Collaborate with management on innovative solutions for video content editing.
• Design and animate all graphics, illustrations, and typography in videos.

What Do You Need?

• 3 years’ experience editing for web, television or social media, or related area, Required
• Bachelor Degree in Advertising, Communications, Film/TV, Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience, Required
• Knowledge of Adobe Creatives Suite and AfterEffects.
• Strong video editing skills to create high quality end product that exceed client expectations.
• Exceptional color grading skills
• Handle multiple projects simultaneously within established time constraints.
• Strong attention to detail
• Work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Document management system
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Improvement
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite, internet.
• Perform under strong demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Work professionally with customers and co-workers to efficiently serve our customers, treating both with enthusiasm and respect.
• Display empathy, understanding, and patience with employees and external customers.
• Respond professionally in situations with difficult employee/vendor/customer issues or inquiries.
