\nRN - Tele Float Pool Stepdown
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
\n• Float between multiple units including MedSurg Tele and PCU across both campuses
\n• May include inpatients holding in Emergency Department
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Must work Christmas as part of holiday rotation
\n• Night shift preferred with potential for block scheduling accommodation
\n• Nurse-to-patient ratios: PCU 1:4, MedSurg Tele 1:5-6
\n• Unit assignments provided 2 hours prior to shift start via text message
\n• Travel between campuses approximately 20-25 minutes apart
\n• Must pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts prior to contract signing
\n• Minimum 1 year PCU experience required
\n• Must be comfortable titrating drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
\n• Ability to interpret cardiac strips required
\n• Care for geriatric patients, orthopedic patients, post-cardiac catheterization patients, post-MI patients, and CABG post-op day 3-4 patients
\n• Work with respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, and Heated High Flow
\n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
\n• Dress code: Solid color professional scrubs (transitioning to Navy scrubs in October)
\n• Charting system: Cerner
\n• 8-hour general hospital orientation plus 12-hour shifts at West MedTele and PCU West
\n• Cancellation policy: 4 shifts per contract (3 shifts if contract under 13 weeks)
