The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the loan closing process, ensuring that all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong understanding of mortgage processes, compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders including loan officers, escrow agents, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare closing documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations throughout the closing process.
• Coordinate with loan officers, escrow agents, and other parties involved in the transaction.
• Manage the loan origination process from approval to closing.
• Utilize math skills for accurate calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and fees.
• Conduct thorough underwriting reviews to assess risk and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Process contracts and ensure all necessary documentation is collected and verified.
• Maintain organized records of all transactions and communications related to closings.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally.

Experience

• Proven experience in mortgage servicing or as a Closer is preferred.
• Familiarity with loan processing, underwriting, and escrow procedures.
• Proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient data entry and documentation handling.
• Strong understanding of loan origination processes and related regulations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Attention to detail is essential for ensuring accuracy in all aspects of the closing process.
