Technical Project Manager

Location: Los Angeles, CA | Full-Time

Funicular Goats delivers state-of-the-art technical services for some of the world’s most ambitious live productions. We are seeking a  Technical Project Manager who can combine strong organizational skills with hands-on technical leadership and great client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from kickoff through completion, managing timelines and deliverables
• Manage technical staff schedules, training, and workflow
• Oversee gear maintenance, parts inventory, and technical spaces
• Ensure projects are prepped and executed on time
• Support R&D and engineering initiatives across live production projects
• Utilize tools such as Vectorworks, Google Docs, and IntelliEvent to manage projects

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical projects in live events, broadcast, or entertainment
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Proven ability to delegate, train, and manage technical staff
• Familiarity with Vectorworks and project/order management tools
• Knowledge of technical equipment and maintenance processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary $100,000-$200,000+ (combined fee consisting of annual salary plus show pay)
