Job Description

An elementary school near Frazee, MN is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a full-time caseload primarily serving students on the Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This contract position aligns with the new school year schedule and requires onsite presence to provide hands-on, individualized instruction.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students with ASD
• Deliver direct instruction using evidence-based strategies to support social, behavioral, and academic growth
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure comprehensive student support
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state regulations
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages communication and student development

Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota State Teaching certification in Special Education with an ASD endorsement
• Experience working with elementary-age students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Strong understanding of best practices and interventions in special education
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instruction to meet diverse learner needs

Location: Onsite position near Frazee, MN, with proximity to Fargo, MN.
