Job Description
Witt’s Services is seeking a dependable, experienced, and hard-working Skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for a wide range of hands-on construction tasks related to outdoor living and landscape construction projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and experience working with both hand tools and power tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and install hardscapes , including retaining walls, paver patios, sidewalks, and steps
Assist with construction and installation of pergolas, pavilions , and other outdoor structures
Perform stonework , blockwork, and custom masonry
Grade and prepare sites for landscaping and construction projects
Operate hand tools, power tools, compactors, and other construction equipment
Follow blueprints, layouts, and supervisor instructions for accurate builds
Load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites
Maintain a clean and safe job site, including end-of-day site cleanup
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and supervisors
Comply with company policies and safety protocols at all time
Qualifications:
Proven experience in landscape or construction labor (minimum 1 year preferred)
Skilled in hardscaping, pavers, retaining walls, and general construction techniques
Familiar with power tools such as circular saws, drills, and impact drivers
Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must supply and maintain a basic set of personal tools (as outlined in company policy)
Schedule:
Full-time position
Monday – Friday (occasional weekends based on project needs)
Start time varies by season and project
