About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Credit Executive to lead our credit department operations. In this pivotal role, you will manage our credit policies and performance across diverse credit types, guide the credit team, and ensure the continued quality and health of our lending portfolio. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth credit analysis, performing portfolio stress testing, and ensuring compliance with our loan growth objectives. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will participate in various committees and play a crucial role in coordinating external loan audits and navigating regulatory examinations.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten years of experience in financial and credit analysis, with a robust background in Commercial and Industrial (C&I) lending. Proven management experience is essential, and completion of a formal bank management executive school or financial industry-related degree program is highly preferred. Strong skills in creating and analyzing credit presentations, drafting business correspondence, and developing loan policies are crucial. You will also need to interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures effectively. Additionally, experience in managing special assets, maintaining relationships with the SBA, and supporting various guaranteed loan programs will be highly valued.
