**Job Description** The Precision Guidance and Sensing Solutions (PGSS) is seeking an experienced Operations Proposal Leader to join our growing Operations team. As a result of significant growth within the Precision Strike Business Area, we are looking for a strategic and systems-minded professional to lead the Operations strategy and on-time execution of proposals and help drive our overall Operations objectives forward via collaboration and innovation. _This is a first shift position working a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off!_ **Responsibilities:** + Develop and manage Operations inputs for proposals across the PGSS portfolio + Provide guidance and direction to cross-functional teams working on proposal efforts + Verify resource needs and availability, and provide technical guidance and work scope evaluation of proposal spec packages + Coordinate with Supply Chain to support make/buy and strategic decision making + Develop compliance matrices to ensure timely completion of proposals adhering to external and internal deliverable due dates + Support Cost Volume Leads in development of estimates and ROS % + Work cross-functionally to overcome barriers to accuracy, timeliness, and quality of the proposal + Liaise with Operations and Programs Management to develop clear and concise technical and execution strategies + Lead kickoff meetings to discuss strategy for pricing, execution, and technical work **Additional Responsibilities:** + CAM/OPM for development programs + Lead capital efforts + Other strategic special projects **Requirements:** + Experienced in proposal management and operations + Strategic and systems mindset with ability to translate technical needs from the customer and understand the impact to Operations + Methodical and detailed approach to proposals + Strong leadership and coordination skills + Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams + Proven track record of on-time proposal execution and compliance **What We Offer:** + Opportunity to join a growing company with a dynamic team + Collaborative and supportive work environment + Professional growth and development opportunities If you're a motivated and experienced professional looking to take on a new challenge, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity! **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field + Minimum 5 years of experience in Operations or Engineering + Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance + Proven track record of successfully launching products on time, within budget, and to customer requirements + Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage resources, and control budgets + Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks + Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools and processes **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Communicate effectively both orally and in writing + Exhibit sound interpersonal skills involving interfacing, coordinating and negotiating with company personnel + Utilize computer skills to prepare appropriate reports and documents in Microsoft Office + Make decisions using sound judgement while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations + Develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills + Ability to prioritize and multitask + Excellent organizational and follow through skills + Detail oriented + Ability to perform price analyses + Solid knowledge of DoD contracting **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $105254 - $178931 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
