Job Description

Primary Duties Include:

• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic sports and activity-related injuries, focusing on shoulders, elbows and knees.
• Working in our Huntsville, Madison, and Decatur office locations on a rotational basis
• Running concurrent and independent clinics
• Referring for diagnostic treatments/tests
• Evaluating x-ray, CT scan, and MRI results
• Ordering and reviewing lab results
• Providing clear, concise, and accurate information in EMR
• Demonstrating strong teamwork
• Using EMR and other computer systems efficiently
• Assisting in surgery

Additional Details:

• Minimal call duties and weekend obligations
• This is an office and surgical-based position with a typical five-day work week

Candidate Requirements:

• NCCPA-certified or CRNP with First Assist
• Highly self-motivated and driven with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently
• Confident in making clinical decisions and managing patient care
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with the orthopedic surgeon and healthcare team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
• Experience or interest in sports medicine and orthopaedics is a plus but not mandatory
• Desire for continued learning
• Compassionate and patient-centered with good interpersonal skills
