**Overview** We are seeking a responsible and observant **Parking Attendant** to manage parking operations and enforce parking regulations within designated areas. This role involves monitoring parking lots and garages, assisting customers, and issuing citations for parking violations in accordance with local laws and organizational policies. **Pay:** $21.00 an hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members ( (English) ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM) ( (Español) **Key Responsibilities:** + Monitor parking areas to ensure compliance with posted regulations. + Issue parking citations for violations such as expired meters, unauthorized parking, and improper use of designated spaces. + Maintain accurate records of issued citations and enforcement activities. + Provide courteous assistance to customers regarding parking rules, directions, and payment systems. + Operate handheld citation devices and/or mobile apps to document violations. + Report damaged signage, malfunctioning meters, or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel. + Assist with traffic flow and event parking as needed. + Perform routine inspections of parking facilities for cleanliness and safety. + Collaborate with security or law enforcement when necessary. **Qualifications:** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Valid driver's license and clean driving record. + Previous experience in parking services, security, or customer service preferred. + Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful or confrontational situations. + Strong attention to detail and observational skills. + Basic computer and mobile device proficiency. + Ability to walk or stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions. **Working Conditions:** + Outdoor and indoor environments. + Exposure to varying weather conditions. + May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.
