Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A healthcare opportunity is available for a skilled MRI Technologist to provide expert imaging services in a well-equipped medical environment. This position is a contract role based in Mooresville, NC, catering to a variety of patient types including emergency, inpatient, observation, and outpatient cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify imaging orders and collaborate with Radiologists or ordering providers for any discrepancies.
• Prepare and assist patients by explaining procedures and ensuring proper identification using two patient identifiers.
• Conduct thorough patient interviews and review electronic medical records to gather clinical history.
• Manage the MRI exam process from start to completion, including IV contrast administration and technical image evaluation.
• Adhere to radiation safety principles and infection control protocols, performing invasive procedures as necessary.
• Operate radiology information systems and document procedures accurately.
• Support additional medical personnel during MRI procedures and maintain strict MRI safety standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of one years experience in MRI technology.
• Certification by ARRT (R) or NMTCB and ARRT (MR) or ARMRI credentials.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• NC state licensure is not mandatory.
• Comfort working with diverse patient populations including those with medical devices and anesthesia cases.
• Ability to maintain safety in environments with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.

Scheduling Details:
