As an Engineering Finance Intern you will be responsible for supporting the Engineering Finance team with analytics tools, financial performance analysis, monthly close activities, reporting & invoicing. This position will support the Head of Engineering Controlling and is a shared services role to the Wichita, KS, Mobile, AL and the U.S. Program Management team. The role involves supporting the creation of Engineering financial deliverables & Business Cases, monitoring AOP (operating plan) targets, performing variance analysis, contributing to alignment of all Engineering business areas, supporting the Head of Engineering Controlling in ad-hoc analysis and reporting needs, and supporting the development of rolling forecasts including Cost by Nature, headcount, offload, workload, expenditures and hourly rate. The internship is onsite 100% in Wichita, KS. Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance, have initiative, good planning and communication skills, strong sense of responsibility, capable of working in a multidisciplinary team under high pressure and have good judgment. Experience in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Tools, Google Workspace (including Gemini), Tableau / Alteryx is an asset. Physical requirements include ability to see and read computer screens and documents, participate in conversations, operate office equipment, carry and lift up to 30lbs, push/pull small furniture, sit for long periods, squat/kneel, stand, travel independently, and walk through office and production areas. Personal Protective Equipment required includes Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site. The job requires awareness of compliance risks and commitment to act with integrity.
