About The Job:
We’re Ferocious Media , an experienced, award-winning, full-service Digital Marketing Agency for the Trades. We offer a variety of digital solutions for our home service clients, specializing in website design & development, organic search, paid advertising, social media management, local SEO, and graphic design.
We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented Junior Web Designer to join our team. In this role, you’ll support our design team by sourcing compelling images, creating visual assets for websites, and designing graphics for social media and internal use. You’ll also help accelerate the creative process by leveraging AI tools to generate design concepts, enhance images, and streamline production. You’ll play a key role in bringing digital experiences to life across web and social platforms.
This position is a Remote role. Candidates residing in Eastern Time Zone are preferred.
What You’ll Do / Responsibilities:
Source high-quality, brand-appropriate images for new website projects
Design graphic elements for websites, including banners, icons, maps, and backgrounds
Create visually engaging social media graphics and marketing materials
Design internal graphics for presentations, documentation, and team resources
Collaborate with web designers and developers to ensure assets align with site functionality and user experience
Leverage AI-powered tools to assist in generating design concepts, graphics, and image enhancements
Maintain brand consistency across all visual designs
Organize and prepare files for development hand-off, ensuring your work is thoroughly QC’ed
What We’re Looking For:
Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
Familiarity with AI tools for design (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, or similar)
A strong eye for layout, color, typography, and composition
Understanding of basic design principles for web and mobile interfaces
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
A portfolio showcasing design work across web and social platforms
Possess problem-solving skills to assess task requirements and research solutions independently
Nice To Haves:
Experience working with WordPress or other CMS platforms
Knowledge of responsive design best practices
Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS (not required but a plus)
