The DNA Group is seeking a full-time Entry-Level Data Analyst to support a citywide initiative focused on improving outcomes for youth and families in the District of Columbia. This position plays a critical role in the development of a Continuum of Care Implementation Plan for at-risk youth, through the analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic research efforts.

Overview Requirements:

• Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to support the development of a Continuum of Care Implementation Plan for at-risk youth in Washington, D.C.

• Collaborate with the Project Director, government agencies, and community stakeholders to identify key data points, gather information, and monitor service gaps.

• Conduct asset mapping, gap analysis, and literature reviews to identify best practices in juvenile justice and community-based youth support.

• Translate data and research findings into clear, actionable insights to inform service delivery and system improvement.

• Attend monthly project meetings and Planning Council sessions to present progress, gather feedback, and align efforts with broader agency goals.

• Produce high-quality deliverables including data summaries, flow diagrams, dashboards, and a final report with an implementation timeline.

• Demonstrate strong communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders and present complex findings in accessible, user-friendly formats.

• Work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment; manage timelines and priorities with attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Required Experience:

• Experience in the social sciences (preferably juvenile justice, public health, or behavioral science): 1 year (Required)

• Experience conducting research and evaluations using public health or justice system administrative data: 1 year (Required)

• Understanding of statistical concepts and their application in public health and criminal justice data: 1 year (Required)

• Proficiency in programming languages (R or Stata), database management, and data visualization: 1 year (Required)

• Experience collaborating with stakeholders and providing project updates: 1 year (Required)

• Experience analyzing datasets to identify trends and draw meaningful conclusions: 1 year (Required)

• Strong analytical and communication skills to present complex data clearly and concisely: 1 year (Required)
