Job Description

eko is a technology company focused on delivering the best way to present products online.

Thanks to our groundbreaking partnership with major retailers, and our ability to demonstrably increase e-commerce sales, we recently broke ground on a new facility focused on processing, capturing, and delivering data & media for millions of unique products annually.

Our first-of-its-kind facility will open in Northwest Arkansas this summer and scale to hundreds of employees by the end of 2025. As we embark on our next phase of expansion, we are seeking skilled and resourceful team members who thrive in dynamic, “figure-it-out-as-we-go” environments and are eager to grow with us.

The IT Technician will report directly to the Head of IT and serve as the on-site lead for day-to-day technology operations. This person will support critical systems across robotics, camera and lighting hardware, warehouse technology, AV infrastructure, and the facility’s hybrid network environment.

What you will do:

Technology Systems Support

    • Act as the on-site expert for hardware and software troubleshooting related to studio robotics, capture systems, lighting, and AV equipment.

    • Provide responsive support for macOS devices, warehouse scanning equipment, shared workstations, and other endpoints.

    • Manage onboarding and offboarding of employees from a technology standpoint, including device provisioning and account setup.

    • Work closely with third-party vendors and internal teams to ensure uptime and performance of scanning, labeling, and mobile warehouse tech systems.

    • Support the deployment and maintenance of technology in the data center, including servers, storage systems (e.g., Quantum), and power/network infrastructure.

  • Network & Infrastructure Support

    • Monitor and perform basic support across a multi-vendor network environment including:

      • UniFi wireless, cameras, and access control

      • Fortinet routers and IDF switches throughout the facility

      • Cisco switches in the data center

    • Perform structured cabling, patch panel work, port tracing, and switch diagnostics as needed.

    • Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and escalate deeper system-level issues when needed.

  • Collaboration & Growth

  • Serve as the on-the-ground partner for cross-functional teams including studio operations, robotics, warehouse logistics, and AV integration.

  • Coordinate with external vendors to support, troubleshoot, and improve warehouse and facility tech deployments.

  • Contribute to system documentation and IT processes to support a high-growth scale-up environment.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • 2 - 4 years of experience in an IT support or technician role, ideally in a warehouse, media production, or hybrid technical environment.

  • Strong macOS troubleshooting skills and general systems administration knowledge.

  • Hands-on familiarity with networking concepts and gear, including VLANs, DHCP, patching, and PoE.

  • Exposure to Fortinet, Cisco, or UniFi environments is a strong plus.

  • Experience supporting AV gear, cameras, studio control surfaces, or warehouse scanning devices is highly desirable.

  • Strong communication and time management skills, with an ownership mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves.

  • Must be on-site 5 days a week in Northwest Arkansas.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of something groundbreaking. Help build and run a one-of-a-kind robotics and media capture facility.

  • Hyper-growth environment. You’ll be a key player in scaling a complex operation with real impact.

  • Tech at the core. Support the infrastructure that powers a high-speed, data-driven studio and warehouse ecosystem.

Benefits

  • Premium health, dental and vision insurance

  • Mental Health and Wellness Resources

  • Life and Disability Insurance

  • 12 Paid Holidays

Note: The essential responsibilities of this position are described under the headings above. They may be subject to change at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons. This description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.
