Hotel Front Desk & Concierge
Oyster Bay Boutique Hotel Job Type Part-time Description
**Summary/Objective**
The hotel front desk and concierge are responsible for providing quality and efficient guest services and hotel property management. To ensure guests of the hotel receive best-in-class service as well as cleanliness of the facility. The hotel front desk & concierge ensures that all guests have a positive experience during their time here at the hotel.
**Essential Functions**

- Operating hotel PMS to make reservations, answering the phone, and distributing messages as needed.
- Ensuring smooth check-in check-out process for arriving and departing guests.
- Coordination and communication with guests in person and electronically.
- Responsible for inspecting all guest rooms to hotel standard upon checkout.
- Assist with luggage and other guest requests as needed.
- Perform laundry/housekeeping duties as necessary.
- Perform event duties as necessary.
- Ensuring the hotel common areas is clean and organized at all times to hotel standards.
- Adhering to safety standards.
- Responsible for inspecting equipment, dcor and furnishing for damages after use, checking all against inventory and reporting to management anything that needs attention.
- Ensuring excellent levels of customer service for hotel guests.
- Undertaking security duties of the hotel and making sure all areas are secure and up to hotel standards.
- Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary.
- Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution
- Assist in maintaining levels of cleaning products, toiletries, tableware, food/beverage and other hotel essentials as needed.
- Restock all suites minibars, toiletries and other essentials as needed.
- Perform all other duties as requested or directed.

3. Knowledge of hospitality environments
4. Ability to multi-task and problem solve
5. Well-organized and detail-oriented with all guest services
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Education and Experience**
High school diploma or GED and one to three years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
**Position Type/Expected Hours of Work**
This is a part-time. Days and hours will vary to include evening and weekend work according to business needs.
**Physical Demands**
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be me met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The key physical requirements of this position include the ability to walk and stand for an extended period of time, bending, stooping, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
