The Video Editor/Motion Graphics Designer will lead the development of dynamic visual content with a strong focus on motion graphics, video editing, and animation for digital platforms. This position blends artistic skill and technical expertise to create compelling, brand-aligned visual experiences for use in marketing, social media, and digital campaigns. Working in a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate is a highly creative and collaborative professional with proven experience in visual storytelling across video and digital channels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development of motion graphics, video content including production and post, and animation for digital marketing, social media, and brand campaigns.
• Create high-impact visual storytelling through video, animation, and dynamic social content that supports MetroNational and Memorial City branding
• Design and execute engaging visual content for both digital and print media , with a strong emphasis on multimedia formats
• Conceptualize and produce short/long-form video, animated graphics, reels, GIFs, and social-ready motion assets
• Design and develop digital presentations and promotional visuals for advertising, social platforms, websites, and campaign launches
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels
• Maintain awareness of emerging video, motion, and social media trends and integrate fresh ideas into creative deliverables
• Assist in the maintenance of websites and social media platforms, through engaging motion and visual assets
• Ensure final assets meet brand guidelines, quality standards, and platform specifications

EDUCATION AND REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual arts, motion design, multimedia, advertising, journalism, or a related field
• 4+ years of professional experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio of motion graphics and video editing work

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite , especially After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Experience with CapCut and Descript preferred.
• Proven experience in motion design, animation, and video production/editing
• Skilled in developing social-first content tailored for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook
• Strong understanding of brand identity development and marketing campaign support
• Preferred experience with web design and splash page creation
• Strong grasp of visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and composition for both static and dynamic content
• Ability to create print and digital materials including logos, invitations, postcards, brand templates, and online publications
• Familiarity with photography, illustration, and videography, including storyboarding and shot planning
• Proficient in tools like Canva for quick-turn design needs
• Ability to present creative concepts, create mockups, and deliver polished prototypes
• Comfortable managing multiplenprojects, deadlines, and vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to use both visual and written language effectively
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for innovation and trend integration
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-hire background and drug screen.
