This new Clubhouse will serve as a cornerstone for members seeking excellence in hospitality, culinary innovation, and community engagement. The Missouri Athletic Club – Clayton is actively expanding its culinary leadership team under Executive Chef Bogdan Danila, an internationally trained, Michelin-starred chef. We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef with vision, leadership, and artistic finesse. This will be a full-time position. Hours will vary based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead all pastry and bakery operations.
- Develop seasonal dessert menus that reflect elevated Midwestern direction.
- Train and mentor the pastry team.
- Maintain exceptional standards of consistency and technique.
- Manage ordering, costing, and production schedules.
Professional Background
- Experience in high-end culinary environments, such as Michelin-starred kitchens or James
Beard–recognized restaurants.
- Strong foundation in classical and modern techniques.
- Success in structured, high-performance culinary operations.
