Job Description

Salary: $68,900 - 131,100 per year Requirements:

• A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in software development
• Proficiency in developing, testing, and integrating real-time software applications using C++ or similar languages
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Shell, or Perl
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is preferred
• Experience with development on Linux, VxWorks, or other Real-Time Operating Systems
• Skilled in collaborating in lab environments with physical hardware, such as test benches or simulators
• Strong ability to understand and navigate complex systems and code bases
• Background in Scrum techniques within Agile software development processes
• Knowledge of DevSecOps pipeline implementation and continuous integration/continuous delivery methods using Test-Driven Development
• Hands-on experience with Git for version control and GitLab for repository management

• Assist in the requirements gathering, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software and tools
• Design, implement, test, and document software solutions
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems
• Collaborate with project managers and other engineering professionals
• Work on defined scope, schedule, and expectations for problems
• Adhere to established development practices and maintain software product configuration management
• May require occasional travel for business-related activities
