Postioin Summary
As the Everence Federal Credit Union Marketing Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful business and marketing projects that make a difference in the lives of our members and the community. This paid internship offers valuable hands-on experience, training, and mentoring to help you jumpstart your career in marketing.

 Responsibilities:

1. The Everence Federal Credit Union Marketing Intern will gain hands-on experience working with a collaborative team, exploring the dynamics of marketing within a faith-based banking and financial institution, while also supporting our local Lancaster County EFCU branches.
2. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the execution of marketing campaigns and content creation. Depending on the Marketing Intern’s skillset, this includes, but is not limited to:
   1. Project management
   2. Writing for our website and social media
   3. Market research and analyzing the effectiveness of marketing efforts to support the credit union’s goals
   4. Event planning with a particular focus on our annual Youth Savings Celebration event
   5. May also have the opportunity to help develop and/or translate marketing collateral into Spanish, depending on skills and experience.  

Qualifications:

1. Currently pursuing a degree program or career in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
2. Ability to learn different software packages and systems; prior experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must.
3. Basic understanding of digital and traditional marketing, writing, design, and website principles along with an ambition to learn more about the world of banking and finances.
4. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to multi-task and meet project deadlines.
5. Self-motivated to work well independently or in a team environment.
6. Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
7. Attentive to details and meticulously organized.
8. Fluency in Spanish desirable, but not required.
9. Culturally competent or possess the ability to understand, appreciate and interact with people with different perspectives  

Hours: Full Time (30-40 hours per week)
Location: Lancaster, PA
