Bonitz of Georgia is hiring a Commercial Roofing Superintendent. Family owned and operated since 1956, Bonitz of Georgia provides commercial Roofing, Roof Decking Systems, Engineered Fills, Metal Stud Framing, Drywall, and Acoustical Ceiling services. Bonitz of Georgia is a certified drug-free workplace. We operate primarily in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and South Carolina.

FIELD OPERATIONS
• Quality Control on all job sites to include inspections on a regular basis
• Conduct inspections with manufacturers
• Daily communication with field employees & subcontractors
• Monitor and report field progress of employees & subcontractors
• Order materials & schedule deliveries
• Coordination of proper PPE with employees
• Coordinate equipment deliveries
• Track & coordinate all field equipment (tools, scaffolds, etc.)
• Attend weekly progress meetings
• Conduct hand-off meetings with Foremen & subcontractors

OFFICE OPERATIONS
• Professional communication via telephone and/or email correspondence, both intra-office and with external customers
• Assist with the submittal process
• Participate in set-up & hand-off meetings
• Review estimates & plans with appropriate stakeholders
• Review production drawings
• Assist with pricing RFIs and CO requests
• Assemble & monitor the budget for labor
• Assist in creating weekly schedules
• Coordinate layout of materials while adhering to budget
• Assist with materials ordering
• All other duties as assigned by your supervisor

REQUIREMENTS - Bonitz of Georgia is a drug-free workplace

• Potential candidates must be willing to submit to a preemployment drug screening to be considered for hire
• Normal vision and hearing
• Must be able to individually lift, push, or pull materials & heavy equipment up to 100 pounds
• Clean driving record (no DUI's or super speed tickets in the last 5 years)
• Minimum of 3-5 years in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Experience with fabricating metal flashings, using a heat seamer, hand welder, and metal roofing tools
• Forklift and aerial lift experience & certifications are a plus but not required
• 10-hour & 30-hour OSHA training are a plus but not required
• BI-LINGUAL is a huge plus but not required!
