We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven CMS Engagement Lead to spearhead our growth initiatives across CMS to advance the agency's mission. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of CMS programs, policies, and procurement processes, coupled with a proven track record of identifying, capturing, and securing federal contracts. This role is pivotal in driving strategic growth, building strong government relationships, and positioning MITRE as a trusted advisor to CMS. Key responsibilities include:
+ Master's degree in health-related field with a focus on management and/or policy. + 10 years of experience and proven track record in business development and capture management within the federal government market, with a focus on CMS. + In-depth knowledge of CMS programs and existing relationships with CMS stakeholders and industry partners. + Experience with health IT, data analytics, or healthcare policy solutions. + Familiarity with tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, or other federal opportunity tracking platforms. + Strong understanding of federal procurement processes, including FAR regulations and contract vehicles (e.g., GSA, IDIQs, BPAs). + Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. + This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.
