Position Overview The Deli Evening Manager is responsible for the operation of the department in the absence of the Deli Manager or Assistant Deli Manager. Duties include: Managing department inventory, pricing, merchandising, and adherence to labor and safety rules. Ordering products and supplies and scheduling work to maximize sales and gross profit. Ensuring that all new department employees receive proper training and safety instruction on all equipment in the deli. Supervising correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise, and building of displays. Ensuring that all employees meet safety standards for operation and adhere to strict standards of sanitation, food safety, and personal hygiene.
