About Us:
We are looking for compassionate and professional Certified Postpartum Doulas to join our referral network in Long Beach and surrounding areas. Our goal is to connect families with high-quality postpartum care while ensuring doulas can bill insurance directly. We proudly work with Medi-Cal (via PAVE), Kaiser Permanente, and other insurance providers to expand access to postpartum support services.
Responsibilities:
Provide nurturing postpartum care in clients’ homes, including newborn care, parent support, and recovery guidance.
Document visits and services according to Medi-Cal, Kaiser, and insurance requirements .
Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
Offer compassionate, evidence-based support that empowers parents in their postpartum journey.
Qualifications:
Certification as a Postpartum Doula (DONA, CAPPA, ICEA, or equivalent).
Medi-Cal PAVE enrollment/approval (required) .
Experience billing Kaiser Permanente and/or other private insurance plans .
Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain).
Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
Reliable transportation to serve Long Beach and nearby areas.
