The successful candidate will be expected to practice in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Duties include collaborative practice with faculty OBGYN Specialists, Uro-Gynecologists, and MFM Specialists to provide complete care for midwifery patients. Teaching OB and Off-Service residents in clinical and lecture formats, as well as medical and nursing student teaching and Advanced Practice Nurse preceptorship, are important components of the job. Faculty midwives provide comprehensive care using the latest medical technology and evidence-based practices, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, engage in research and scholarly activities, and play a pivotal role in educating and mentoring medical students and residents.
