Job Responsibilities Conduct on-site clinical evaluations for new and existing customers to demonstrate the use of products and services, increasing the frequency and quality of IGS (Image Guided Surgery) product usage. Provide on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and operating room personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving during surgery to maximize efficiency and usage. Lead installations and establish functionality at new and existing customer sites. Educate and train physicians and hospital personnel, including operating staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical, and IT staff, on the use of surgical products and services. Utilize engineering expertise to contribute to quality improvement by recommending product modifications. Act as the primary customer liaison, maintaining site visits and regular contact, assessing satisfaction and usage, and working to increase revenue through service contracts, spare/wear parts, upgrades, etc. Collaborate with the Account Manager to evaluate customer opportunities and open sales projects. Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and engineering expertise. Stay informed about new developments in Brainlab and competitive products via ongoing training and research. Attend annual surgical continuing education and maintain product knowledge. Promote products and services at trade shows to surgeons. Maximize customer satisfaction. Perform other duties as required. Travel approximately 50% or more. Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 annually. Qualifications B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 1-3 years in a technical support role within a healthcare company or provider. Minimum of 1-2 years customer service experience. Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology. Proficient in PC software applications, including Microsoft Office. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with the ability to make independent decisions.
