Japs-Olson Company has been a leader in the direct mail marketing and commercial print industry since 1907. Being a leader means having state-of-the-art equipment that requires a skilled team of advanced maintenance technicians to complete all preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on over 100 machines. Our maintenance team plays a vital role in serving our national client base along with our 550 other members at our manufacturing facility located in St. Louis Park, MN.

We are seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team on our 3rd shift.

Pay:

$32-$40 per hour plus shift differentials

Shifts Available:

• 3rd Shift: 10pm-6am with an additional $1.25 per hour shift differential

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment and components
• Troubleshoot and repair large-scale commercial printing presses
• Follow best practices to improve equipment reliability
• Document and maintain spare parts inventory
• Abide by management system procedures, 5S, and Standard Work
• Follow document control procedures
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule

Skills and Qualifications:

• Technical degree or working towards a degree in electrical, electronics, or mechanical preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical background
• Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
• Previous experience working with printing, bindery, and mailing equipment
• Good organization and communication skills
• Adaptability to working with a team or on your own
• Experience working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic systems
• Previous use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) a plus

* Stay-On Bonus amount is based on experience. Paid out in three installments at 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months of employment at Japs-Olson.
