Our client, in Terre Haute, IN, is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join their team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Terre Haute, IN

Pay Range: $16.00 - $17.00/hour

Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday

What's the Job?

• Compute, classify, record, and verify numerical data for maintaining accounting records.
• Verify and post details of business transactions, ensuring accuracy in ledgers and databases.
• Audit invoices against purchase orders and resolve discrepancies for timely payments.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, checks, and account statements while reviewing for accuracy.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure that payments are up to date.
