Title: Accountant

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm, In Office
Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annual salary + Bonus up to 50%

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Staff Accountant you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, reconciling, and updating the NVR Building Products financial statements and management reports. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including preparation of journal entries.
  
  
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations to include inventory balances and fixed assets.
  
  
• Independently preparing and reviewing internal management reports for accuracy and completeness.
  
  
• Communicating with operating department personnel to obtain explanations and support for account balances.
  
  
• Pricing and costing of house packages, to include new homes and changes to existing homes.
  
  
• Calculating and collecting rebates, to include review of contracts to ensure earned rebates are collected.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  
  
• 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred
  
  
• Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  
  
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
  
  
• Able to work effectively on a fast-paced team, in a professional environment
  
  
• Proficiency in with Microsoft Excel and other Office products
